Volunteer Opportunities

We love our volunteers. And, we love that you’re interested in helping out. In order to become a Hands of Hope or Operation Feed Back volunteer there a just a few steps that you need to follow.

First, you need to be at least 16-years or older.

Second, you need to print and fill out a Fresh Foods Bank Volunteer Form: {Hands of Hope} or {Operation Feed Back for Veterans}; and read and sign the {General Information, Policies, and Code of Conduct} form. Then drop them off at our office on Valley Rd. If you don’t have print capabilities, please come by our office and fill out the forms there.

Next, you’re ready to join us for a Saturday morning operation. You will need to arrive by 8 a.m. and work with our Floor Manager, Lori, to learn the basics of our individual station set up, and general operations. Remember to dress appropriately, be ready to work, wear a smile and have a pleasant disposition! A fun and busy morning is ahead of you.

After volunteering on a few Saturdays and learning about our operation you will be able to volunteer for any day—we operate almost every day of the week.

In general, our volunteer times are in blocks of 4.5 to 5 hours. Plan for this amount of time. Cleaning up after our operations have ended for the day is mandatory. All volunteers will receive a basket of foods, but only after the facility is clean and ready for the next day.
